About the English Foxhound The English Foxhound is the original of two foxhound breeds of dog. This is a scent hound dog. This dog enjoys human companionship, horses, children and other pets. They are gentle, social and tolerant. They have very few health factors. This breed usually lives to 13 years. The English Foxhound was created in the late 1700s.
