About the Cocker Spaniel (English)
This is a breed of gun dog. The English Cocker Spaniel is a cousin to the American Cocker Spaniel. Outside the US they are just called a Cocker Spaniel. They have a happy disposition and a continuously wagging tail and got the nickname "merry cocker".

Cockers are known to have a friendly, faithful, playful and affectionate nature. They are easily trained, make a great medium sized family pet. They live approximately 14 years. They have been found in art and literature for almost 500 years.
