About the Clumber Spaniel This is a breed of dog called a gundog breed developed in Britain. They are an excellent tracker with a gentle, loyal and affectionate temperment. The disadvantages of having a Clumber are constant shedding, snoring, drooling and a habit of raiding kitchen counters, cabinets and even the frig. They may suffer from hip dysplasia or entropionand ectropion and hypothyroidism. It is thought they originated in France around the 19th century, and others think it was developed in Britain.
