About the Bull Terrier
The Bull Terrier is a breed of dog in the terrier family. This terrier is an active, interesting, playful and clownish breed. They become very attached to certain family members. They can be stubborn and hard to train. If raised in a stable environment they can become a well rounded dog. They have a tendency to overeat so you must keep food out of their reach. They can jump a fair height and are quite curious.

Bull Terriers are generally free of disabling genetic diseases. The two extinct breeds of Old English Bulldog and Old English Terrier were cross bred to form the dog call the Bull and Terrier. They also have some Dalmation in their genetics. Pedigrees of Bull Terriers date from between 1874 and 1876.

A misnomer is that even thoough they are alled Bull Terriers they are not directly related to American Pit Bull Terriers.
