10 Reasons to Adopt a Dog

1. You'll often be saving a life.

2. It is not the dogs fault that they are homeless.

3. Think how much that dog will love you for taking them out of the shelter.

4. They often turn out to be dogs with special talents. You might have to look closely for them.

5. If it's an adult dog they may already be trained to some extent. You'll know if it chews up your shoe.

6. It's cheaper than adopting a child.

7. It will either follow you or run off when you go outside.

8. The shelter people may have already given it a stupid name.

9. This family member won't cost you gas money.

10. Looking into the eyes of that homeless dog will melt your heart - so take 2.
