About the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs
The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog or also known as Otto, is a sturdy muscular dog who is known for his protectiveness of his family. He makes an excellent companion and watchdog. Square and powerfully built, agile and athletic for size. He should give impression of nobility with his alertness. They are an American rare dog breed, developed in the Alapaha River region of Southern Georgia.

These dogs are easy to train, dutiful, responsible and make a very capable guardian of their family and property. They are friendly and relaxed until it is time to defend. These dogs were used as a plantation dog in southern Georgia. They were developed by the Lane Family in Rebecca, Georgia, in an effort to keep the dog from extinction. There are currently only about two hundred living dogs and is considered quite rare.
